UMW
Middletown United Methodist Women
United Methodist Women is an organized group of women committed to supporting their local church, the community and the global United Methodist Church through their time, talent, gifts, and service. Some of our local missions include the Emergency Relief Fund, help at the soup kitchen, providing emergency gas coupons, as well as support for several families during the Christmas season. We offer a variety of programs throughout the year to enrich spiritual development and Christian fellowship.
Every woman that comes to Middletown United Methodist Church is a United Methodist Woman. You do not need to belong to a circle to participate in a UMW activity. You’re invited to become involved with this energetic group and participate in the various programs sponsored by UMW.
We currently have four circles that meet on a monthly basis. Please feel free to drop in on any one, or all of them to see which one best fits your interests and needs.
HOPE CIRCLE:
Meets the second Monday of each month at 7:30 PM
SERENDIPITY CIRCLE:
Meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM
FRIENDSHIP CIRCLE:
Meets the second Thursday of each month at 10:00 AM
FAITH CIRCLE (Our group for senior ladies):
Meets the fourth Monday of each month at 10:00 AM
Circles meet in the Gathering Room at church, except for occasional get-togethers in members’ homes. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and make new friends.
Every year, we plan a variety of special activities in addition to regular monthly circle meetings. One traditional event is our December Christmas Program and Cookie Exchange. Another is a Spring Weekend Retreat. All of these special activities are listed in the church bulletin and monthly newsletter.

New people always bring new ideas and a fresh outlook and we’d love to have you join us!
