Missions – Volunteers lead and plan efforts to serve those in need outside the church. The Missions Team meets on the 3rd Wed of all “odd numbered” months. Ministries include: Appalachia Service Project, Food Bank, Frederick Religious Coalition for Emergency Human Needs, Frederick Rescue Mission, Habitat for Humanity, Hope Alive, Homeless shelter, Hospice, Middletown Valley People Helping People (MVPHP), Madeline Ann Burke Emergency Fund, Volunteers in Mission (VIM), and Youth Work Camp. Music – Volunteers participate in learning music which will be used during worship services and special services throughout the year. Vocal groups for the 8:30 and 11:00 services include Sanctuary Singers (grades 9 through adult), Charles Wesley Choir (ages 4 to 1st grade), John Wesley Choir (2nd through 5th grades) and Youth Choir (6th grade through high school.) The Handbell Choir (6th grade through adult) rings about once a month at the 8:30 and 11:00 service and an occasional Saturday service. Contact Pam Mathews @ email@example.com
The Living Stones is the Vocal and Instrumental Team for the 9:45 service. The Living Waters celebrates music of many genres. This group is open to all who wish to experience and participate in a rich musical heritage. The orchestra performs contemporary and classical music throughout the worship year, providing a unique musical experience for both the listener and performer.
